People often overreact to week 1 performances. But 3 weeks in, we need to start learning from trends. ADP is more about sunk cost than present value. Of course, injuries have changed things. Things like fading Nick Chubb and rising on Jerome Ford are obvious. But there are other less obvious things to act on now before it’s too late. Who are some risers after 3 weeks? I’ll choose one from each position.

Jordan Love

I don’t think his current pace is sustainable. However, with some rushing floor, he could finish the season as a low-end QB1. The return of Christian Watson and Aaron Jones.

Kyren Williams

We’ve seen that Sean McVay loves to stick with a bellcow RB. Kyren should get lots of carries and targets on that offence. He was undrafted in most leagues but could be a locked-in starter for the rest of the season.

Mike Evans

There was a lot of concern with Baker Mayfield getting the ball to him. Those concerns are gone now. Baker Mayfield is more than capable of just getting him the ball and Mike Evans has the talent to make much of that.

Sam LaPorta

I don’t expect his pace to be sustainable, but we’ve seen that Dan Campbell likes to target him. Jameson Williams’ return may hurt him, but I still think he could be a rare rookie who remains startable for the entire season.

It can feel dirty paying highly for players who were drafted late or not at all. But these guys have shown to me in three weeks that they’re deserving of their increased values. These are risers after 3 weeks to look at in a different light.
